Its a Window sheet card
This Birthday card is a window sheet card, which is my first one ever to make and I’m excited how it turned out. I know it looks like a lot of work, but really it isnt, and its not hard to assemble either. So lets get started. You will need a piece of Island Indigo cardstock 7″ x 4.25″ and score at 5″ this is now your cardbase. You will need a piece of window sheet 3 x 4.25″,
for my window sheet I used the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate sheets in the new Annual catalog. If you do not have the acetate sheets just use a piece of clear window sheating. You will put a small amount of tear n tape on each end of the acetate sheet, and attach it to the cardbase, then cut another piece of Island Indigo 1.5″ x 4.25″ long and attach the other side of the sheating. You now have the entire card front finished. I then added a piece of Blooms & Bliss Designer series paper 1.25 x 4 onto each of the Island Indigo pieces. The dragon fly is from the Detailed dragonfly thinlit dies in the new Occasions catalog. I die cut it out of the gold foil sheets and used glue does to attach to my window sheet. I then stamped the sentiment from the Avant Garden stamp set on the front in Basic Black ink. Isnt that neat looking.
For the inside I am using a piece of crumb cake cardstock 5.25 x 4″ I used the Avant Garden stamp set and stamped the flowers first with Crumb Cake ink and then over top of then in Island Indigo ink, added some leaves with Mint Macaron and the stamina is in Basic Black ink along with the sentiment. I also stamped one flower on the crumb cake and fussy cut it out and placed
it on top of the one flower with stampin dimensionals. Dont forget to stamp the flower on the outside of the envelope to dress it up too. I just love this card! Leave me a comment and tell me what you think.
Have a great weekend,
Sheryl
