Love Card

My card today started out to be for Valentines day, but you could also use it as a Wedding or anniversary card. Also I couldnt decide whether I like the Basic Black or the Very Vanilla card base. The card base is 8.5 x 5.5″ with a Real Red Cardstock layer 4 x 5.25. That I then embossed with the new Falling Petals embossing folder. I then took 2 hearts from the Sassy heart thinlet set, one in Gold foil paper and the other in Basic Black. The sentiment is form the Sealed with Love stamp set. I didnt want the Hello part on the stamp so I put a small piece of post it note over the Hello before stamping it in the Real Red ink, (dont forget to remove the post it note before stamping on your cardstock) I then used the largest stitched oval and die cut a piece of Gold foil, and then the next one down and die cut the stamped very vanilla piece, and taped them together and popped them up on the Real Red piece. My ribbon is from the 3/8″ metallic ribbon combo pack in the Sale-a-bration catalog. I used a piece of the gold, and taped it across the card, and then made a bow and added it on the side. The hearts are taped on the real red cardstock and the arrow is cut out from Real red cardstock using the Love Notes framelits dies. So leave me a comment and tell me what you think, Basic Black or Very Vanilla cardstock for the card base.

Thanks for stopping by.
