Up Up and Away

Up Up and Away is the theme for todays card. I am using the new Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper Stack, this comes with 48 sheets, 4 each double-sided designs in 6″ x 6″ sizes.
The paper stack is sold in the new Occasions catalog. The stamp set Lift Me Up and the Up & Away Thinlits dies are also in the Occasions catalog that I am using today. First off I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 4.25 x 11. (notice the size difference) I cut the cardstock vertically to make more of a stand up card. I then added a piece of Bermuda Bay 5.25 x 4″ and then a piece of the DSP paper 3.75 x 5″. The balloon is die cut from the Bermuda Bay cardstock. The clouds, are stamped on whisper white cardstock with Smokey Slate ink and die cut out with the thinlits. The large cloud does not come with a stamp so, I took a sponge and sponged the edges with Smokey Slate ink. I popped up the medium size cloud and just attached the other two.
I then added a .75 x 3.75″ strip of DSP paper on the bottom. I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink on to a piece of whisper white cardstock and punched it out with the new Classic label punch. I used some stamping up dimensionals to attach it. Then finished the card off with some Bermuda Bay enamel shapes. So Up Up and Away with your weekend.
