A Happy Hello

Hi Stampers!
Is it raining in your area? Here in Ohio it is pouring, it would be a great day to be stamping! I started playing with the new Avant Garden stamp set and I’m not sure why I chose these colors but I love how it turned out. My Card base is Island Indigo, 8.5 x 5.5″ with a layer of Sahara Sand 5.25 x 4″. I then took the flower from the Avant Garden set and stamped it on the card in Sahara Sand ink and randomly placed it on the card, and then took the same stamp and stamped in Island Indigo, and just turned the stamp on a different angle to offset the ink. Then I took the stamina and inked it with Basic Black ink and stamped each flower. I then added Mint Macaron for the leaves. The sentiment is from Tin of Cards and I added a gold embellishment, with an Island Indigo piece of ribbon for the bow. I just love these colors together, and how this came together.
On the inside I repeated the same technique for the flower and also on the envelope front. Always remember to put something on your envelope front, I think the person receiving the card then can hardly wait to open it!!! Leave me a comment as to what you think, and stay dry this weekend.
