January Birthday gift boxes
Hi Stampers,
Welcome back from the weekend, hope yours included some stamping. My post today is showing my January Birthday gift boxes, I decided to start the new year out with something different for the birthdays, changing to boxes instead of the usual gift bags. My gift box is using the new Falling In love designer series paper from the Occasions catalog. That selection of DSP paper has some very unique designs in it. The box base is using Sarah Sand Cardstock, the box measurements are – for the base is 6 x 7″ and score on all 4 sides at 3/4″, the lid is also 6 x 7″ and scored at 1″ on all 4 sides. I then took the framelits from the stitched layering ovals and used the largest one in Sarah sand and the Scalloped ovals and die cut one in the Very Vanilla.
I stamped my lady from the Beautiful you stamp set that is in the Occasions catalog in Basic Black ink and added the Blushing Bride color to her dress from the stamp set. The lace dollie, I cut in half and attached it to the back of the oval just for some added dimension. I then took the sentiment and stamped it in Blushing Bride ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and used my Washi label punch to punch it out and adhered it with stampin dimensionals. I then took a piece of the Metallic ribbon, the gold one and tied a bow around box. I think they made up real cute, give it a try and let me know what you think.
If you didnt get a catalog send me an email and I would be glad to get one in the mail to you.
Have a great day!
