Happy Retirement

Happy Retirement to a friend of mine from our local lumber yard, she has the ability to look at a paint chip and mix the paint perfectly or bring her a color swatch and she will match it to a T. She will be greatly missed, but is well deserving of her time now for her family. So for my card I took the Wild About Flowers stamp set and the Blooms & Bliss cardstock to make her card.
My card base is 8.5 x 5.5″ of Rich Razzleberry, I took the flower from the stamp set and stamped it in Rich Razzleberry ink and stamped on the cardstock to give it a wall paper effect. I used Basic Black ink to stamp the sentiment at the bottom, I then took a piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock 4.25 x 2.5″ and added a piece of the Blooms and Bliss DSP to it, 4 x 2.5″. I then took a 2.75 x 2.75 piece of Whisper White and stamped the flowers with Sarah Sand, Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum ink, I attached that to a piece 3 x 3 Blushing Bride cardstock, and attached to my card. I then took a piece of Rich Razzleberry grossgrain ribbon and made a bow and attached with a glue dot, and added Basic Pearls to the flowers. On the inside of the card I added some Rich Razzleberry stamped flowers and the sentiment. I’m very pleased with how this turned out, you could change the colors and use any DSP to make this card with a total different look.
