Sending a Smile

Todays card, Sending a Smile – I love that sentiment and use it a lot, With everything that is going on around us we need to send more smiles. This sentiment is from the stamp set Love and Affection in the new Annual Catalog. My card base is Night of Nave 8.5 x 5.5″ with a Layer of Very Vanilla, 5.25 x 4″. I then used the Petals & Paisley DSP paper and cut a piece of the cooper polka dots 4.25 x 3 and a piece of the blue paisley design, 2 x 4″ and adhered to the very vanilla. I then used my new oval framelits to the cut the copper and very vanilla pieces. On the Very Vanilla I used the copper embossing powder to place my sentiment. I then took the leaf stamps from the Paisley & Posies stamp set and randomly stamped some in versa mark on to the very vanilla and copper embossed them and then die cut them out, I did some on Night of Navy too, and also just die cut some out of the copper foil paper. I then arranged them on the card and used glue dots to place them. I then took a piece Night of Navy linen ribbon and added the bow. It makes for a very elegant card.
