Celebrate
Hi Everyone,
My card today is so elegant with the copper foil paper, it could be Wedding, birthday or really any occasion. I started with a Very Vanilla card base 8.5 x 5.5, and then added a layer of Night of Navy cardstock 5.25 x 4″, then a layer of copper foil 5 x 3.75″. The Designer series paper is from the new Petals & Paisleys paper in the Holiday Catalog. I cut 2 pieces of the DSP of the cooper foil 3.25 x 2.25″ and centered them together on the copper foil layer and adhered with snail. I then took the Night of Navy bakers twine and wrapped it around this layer 3 times and tied off with just a not on the edge, and left just a little tail of each end. I took some of the copper trim and wrapped it around 3 of my fingers 6 times and then attached it to the card with a piece of tape. I then used the Paisley Framelits and cut a Night of Navy flower and a copper one and cut up some very small stampin dimensionals and attached the flowers on top of the copper trim. I then made a bow out of the Night Navy bakers twine and attached it with a glue dot where the 2 flowers meet. My sentiment (celebrate) is from the Weather together stamp set, copper embossed on a piece of very vanilla cardstock, punched out with the label punch (retired), and then I just attached it to a piece of Night of Navy cardstock. The picture does not do this card justice, it is really very elegant, the copper foil paper really sets it off.
Thanks for looking in, and have a great safe weekend.
