September Birthday Gift Bags
These are my gift bags for my customers with September Birthdays, I made them using the Gift Bag punch board. The gift bag punch board, is very neat to use, easy, I’m not so sure, it took me a few trys to get the hang of it, but once you get past that part its simple then. Just get out some old paper and practice. My paper today is from the Petals & Paisleys Designer Series paper from the new Holiday catalog, I just loved the purple, I made the large bag using a 6″ x 12″ piece of paper and followed the guides on the punch board for the large bag. My label starts out with the 3rd largest framelit from the Lots of Labels set, and another piece of the Petals & Paisleys DSP, I then punched a 1 3/4″ circle of Night of Navy cardstock, with a 1 1/2″ circle of Very Vanilla and stamped my sentiment from the Circle of Spring stamp set, in Night of Navy ink. I then used the flower from the Paisley framelit set and cut 2 out of the new Copper foil cardstock, I used the fine tip glue to adhere them, and added a bow made from the Night of Navy Bakers twine and adhered it with a couple glue dots. The ribbon to tie the bag together is the 3/8″ Glitter Combo Ribbon from the new Holiday Catalog.
Give the Gift Bag punch board a try, once you get started with it I think you will like it. You can use Christmas paper and make various size bags and fill with gift cards, candy etc.
