The new Holiday catalog has been made available for us demonstrators and it is totally awesome. It will go live on September 1st, so if you are a customer of mine you should be receiving your catalog this week, if you are not a customer of mine but would like a catalog please drop me an email and I will get one out to you.

Now to todays box, I used the new This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper and the new Christmas Stockings Thinlets Die to create the tag. So lets get started on this box, it is made with Whisper White Cardstock 8.5 x 11 and score at 2.5, 5., 7.5, and 10 inches on the long side.and then on the short side 2.5. Create your flaps by cutting into the scored line on the short side and fold the box together. Make sure to use your bone folder to make good sharp creases on the folds, it will help to form the box. Use the adhesive of your choice, I like the fast fuse, its easy to apply and has a strong hold. I used the This Christmas DSP for the sides of the box, you will need 4 pieces 2.25 x 5.75 and adhere to the box. The lid is made from Garden Green Cardstock and is a 5 – inch square that is scored at 1.25 and 3.75 inches. turn 90 degrees and score 1.25 and 3.75 inches again. Cut your flaps to make the box, and adhere them together. I put a 2″ strip of DSP down the middle of the lid.

The tag for the box is 2.0 x 3.5 ” of Garden Green cardstock, with a 3.0 inch strip of the DSP to match the box, and then I used the new Christmas Stockings thinliet dies to cut out a solid stocking in the Cherry Cobbler, and then another out of Garden Green and glued them together with the Fine Tip Glue Pen, I also die cut a Cherry Cobbler bow and put that on the stocking. I inked up a To and From stamp and stamped that on the Garden Green part of the tag. I used a 7″ piece of the Cherry Cobbler 3/8″ Silky Taffeta Ribbon, I put a brad in the center of the box lid and hung my ribbon on it so that the tag would hang off the side of the box.

This box would make a great gift that you could fill with Stampin up products, cookies, candy, gift cards, etc. I hope you will give the box a try and if you need any products to make the box please feel free to shop my online store or drop me an email and I will be glad to help you out.

Have a Great Day!
