Warmth & Cheer Designer Series paper

New Designer Series Paper, Warmth & Cheer, I was going thru this new stack of paper that comes in a package of 6″ x 6″ squares with 12 double-sided designs, of 4 each of a total of 48 sheets!
I came across this pattern of the Delightful Dijon and basic black, and I thought it could be used for a masculine card as well as a Christmas Card, so thats how this card came about.

My card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2″ with a layer of Basic Black 5 x 3 3/4″ and then the DSP layer 4 1/2 x 3 1/4″. The Circle is punched out of Basic Black cardstock with the 2 3/4″ circle punch and then Delightful Dijon with the 2 1/2″ circle framelit. I took a piece of burlap ribbon 2″ long and just pulled some strings at the end to fray it out some. I stamped the boots in Basic Black ink, this stamp is from the new stamp set Country Livin. The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts stamp set and stamped in Basic Black ink onto a strip of Delightful Dijon 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ adhered to a basic black strip 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ I then added to black candy dots for some dimension.

You could change the sentiment to birthday, sympathy, anything really would fit here with this design. I hope you give this card a try and check out the new Designer Series Paper – Warmth & Cheer. I think it brings back the old country time Christmas.
