Wedding Card
My card today is for a wedding that my daughter will be attending shortly. I used the new Flourishing Phrases stamp set and thinlet dies. My card base is Whisper White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2″,
with a layer of Island Indigo 5 6/8 x 4 2/8 and then a layer of Blooms and Bliss DSP 5 1/4 x 4″. I used my corner rounder on the DSP paper. I took the large Oval framelit to die cut my oval and stamped it with the sentiment form Flourishing Phrases in Island Indigo ink. I then die cut with Flourish Thinlits dies, several flowers and leaves with the Island Indigio, Mint Macaron, and Gold Foil cardstock. I adhered all the flowers and leaves with stampin dimensionals. You will want to cut the dimensional in half and work at tucking it and hiding it behind other flowers so not seen. I then added a gold metallic enamel shapes to the center of each flower. I tied a bow with the new Mint Macaron 3/8″ sheer linen ribbon and used a glue dot to adhere to the top of the oval. If you havent tried out this new ribbon yet, you will want to get some, the color and texture of it are amazing. I’m sure I will be using it in future projects.
Well this is it for today, Thanks for stopping by.
