Wedding Wishes
This weekend is going to be so busy, my 2 daughters each have a wedding, and my husband and I have one to attend to also, and then there is a baby shower on Saturday and a bridal shower on Sunday. Doesn’t it always work that way you have nothing to do and then you are over flowed. My card today is using the brides colors, Crumb Cake, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Pink Pirouette, and Gold. I know the Blackberry Bliss is retired, you could substitute Rich Razzleberry, I just didn’t have any at the time. My card base is crumb cake,
cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2″, the blackberry bliss is cut at 5 1/4 x 4″ and then the whisper white is 5 x 3 3/4″. I took a piece of Whisper white and stamped my images from the New Falling Flowers stamp set and used the framelits to die cut them out. I cut the fontals out of gold foil paper for some contrast.I then started by layering my leaf pieces and added the flowers by popping them up with stampin dimensionals. I then added a bow from Blackberry Bliss ribbon and used the Wedding Wishes sentiment from the new Floral Phases stamp set and stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink. I then added some candy dots for in the center of the flowers, if I was do this card again I think I would have punched out some gold foil circles with the owl punch and added them to the flower centers for some bling.
I can’t wait to see how the bride used all these colors for her special day.
Have a great weekend and I hope you get to stamp!
Thanks for stopping by.
