July Birthday Gift Boxes

My July Birthday Gift Boxes are very easy to make and the new Floral Boutique DSP makes it so easy to decorate them. You will need 2 – 7″ x 8″ Night of Navy cardstock, on one piece you will need to score all 4 sides at 1 5/8″ this will be your top, and then the bottom of the box you will score the other piece of cardstock at 1 1/2″ on all 4 sides. You will need to cut in to the
score line on 2 opposite ends to form your box. I used fast fuse for my adhesive, you need something strong to hold the box together, also make sure to use your bone folder and burnish your score lines. My piece of DSP for on top of the box is 3 3/4″ x 4″

The tag is a piece of Night of Navy cardstock 2 x 4″ and punched at the top with the Scalloped tag topper, I then took a 1″ x 2″ piece of the DSP and attached it to the bottom, the sentiment if from the June Paper Pumpkin stamped on Whisper White and punched with the 1 1/2″ circle punch and adhered with stampin dimensionals, I then used the little flower and bow images from the Jar of Love stamp set and framelits dies. I stamped them in Night of Navy and then die cut them out. The flowers are all adhered with stampin dimensionals and the bow just with tape. I then used a piece of Whisper White ribbon and the new Night of Navy twine to finish off the tag. They are then adhered to the gift box.

These boxes are going to be used for my customers with July Birthdays and they hold a pack of the new Metallic Enamel Shapes. They could also hold chocolates, gift cards, jewelry etc. Quick and simple to make – I hope you give them a try.
