Marquee Messages

Todays card is a birthday card for my daughter in law, using the new Marquee Messages stamp set from the new 2016-17 catalog. The card base is Basic Black 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, with a layer
of Whisper White 5 1/4″ x 4″ and then a layer of Melon Mambo 5 x 3 3/4″. I cut a piece of the Pop of Pink Specialty DSP 1″ x 3 3/4″ and adhered it to the bottom of the Melon Mambo. the sentiment is stamped in Basic Black ink and I used a the white gel pen to color in the dots and make the lines on the side. Just to add some dimension to the sentiment. I used White Craft Ink to stamp the stars on the Melon Mambo cardstock. I took a piece of white bakers twine and tied around the layers and made a bow. On the inside of the card I masked off part of the sentiment to just get the arrow and then added my sentiment along with some stars.
