Happy Anniversary

My card today is for friends of ours that are celebrating 40 years of marriage! That doesnt seem to happen to often anymore. My card is using all the new In Colors for 2016-17,
the card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2″ in the new Dapper Denim, with a layer of Emerald Envy 5 1/4 x 4″ and then a layer of Whisper White 5 x 3 3/4″. I am using the new Country Livin Stamp set,
that old truck is just awesome. I stamped the truck in Basic Black ink and then used my Aqua Painters to paint the truck using Dapper Denim ink for the truck, Smokey Slate ink was used on the bumper and raditor, basic black on the tires, Crushed Curry for the headlights, Tip top Taupe for the racks on the bed of the truck. I used Emerald Envy for the grass. The flowers are from the new Jar of Love stamp set, (I’ll be using this stamp more often too) I used the Emerald Envy ink for the leaves, Flirty flaming, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum for the flowers, and then used my gold Wink of Stellar pen to add a little sparkle in the center of the flowers. The little vine I just adhered, but the flowers I added a stamping dimensional to each one and then just built them on top of each other in a grouping. The sentiment is from the Number of Years stamp set, stamped in Dapper Denim. I cut the whisper white 1′ x 3″ and used The Topper punch to flag the end, and then the Emerald Envy is 1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and used the Topper punch again to flag the end, and taped the 2 together and adhered to my card front.

On the inside of the card I added a layer of Emerald Envy 5 1/4 x 4″ and then a layer of whisper white 5 x 3 3/4″ and stamped the sentiment from the new Layering Love stamp set in Dapper Denim. This card takes a little time and effort, but the results are well worth it and I’m sure my friends will appreciate it.
