Gift Bag

Today’s gift bag and card are made with the new Playful Palette designer series paper. This paper has so much going on with it that you do not need to add anything to it. The vibrant colors just seem to pop out at you.

For the gift bag I used the 6×6 sheet of DSP. Score 1 3/4″ on 3 sides and 3/4″ on one side, You need to use 2 coordinating sheets and score both the same. With the top being the 3/4″ side, fold down for which ever side you want to use as your front. In the photo you will see that I cut one panel with the square out on the one side, you just cut to the score line, and then on the other panel you cut into the score line. Then with the outsides together you will glue them, and then bring up the sides to form your bag. These come together very easy once you make one you’ll be doing them in different sizes to meet you needs. If you have an old piece of DSP or even newspaper it makes for a good practice sheet. The little card is a 6 x 3″ piece of very vanilla, scored at 3″ and then I used the paper cut from the panel as my squares, and added the sentiments.

I hope you will give the gift bag a try, works great for gift cards, candy, spools of ribbon, embossing powder, etc. If you didn’t get a new catalog yet, drop me an email and I will be glad to get one out to you.

Thanks for stopping by.
