Flower boxes

Hi Stampers,

At my Monday night workshop I did something different with my ladies and taught them how to make these gift boxes. They work great for gift cards, chocolates or just put money in them, use them for birthdays, bridal or baby showers, etc. They are quick and simple and you can use up those scraps of DSP paper that you have laying around.

Cut a piece of cardstock 5 3/4″ x 10 1/2″ and score on all four sides at 1″ and then on the long side of the cardstock score at 4 3/4″ and 5 3/4″. Cut into the score line on both sides to make the notches to fold the box together. You will put tape on those notches and press together. Then cut a piece of DSP Paper 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ to put on the top of the box.

For the flower I used coordinating DSP paper and cut 4 flowers using the Fun Flower punch, and then one set of flowers cut using the Blossoms Bunch Punch. Once you have the flowers all cut, assemble them and then scrunch them all together to give them texture and then put a brad through the center and attach to the box.

I used the Note tag punch for my tag and the Bold Butterfly Framelits for the butterfly and added a Basic Rhinestone or pearl.

The stamp set for the brocade design on the tag is from the Grateful Bunch stampset and the words are from a Paper pumpkin kit.

If you are in need of any of the supplies and do not have a demonstrator feel free to use my online shop and make sure to check the box contact so that I can send you a thank you gift.

Have a great day.

Sheryl
