Frost on the Pumpkin
Frost on the pumpkin is what my dad use to say on a morning like this. Its a beautiful brisk sunshine morning that needs to be enjoyed! These are going to get few and far between as the season is getting ready to change.
My card today is using the Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set that is an Online Exclusive product. It is item number 164364 $20.00. Such a fun set with all the different size pumpkins. My card base is Early Espresso 4.25 x 11. I added another piece of Early Espresso 4 x 5.25 that was embossed with the wood embossing folder. The next layer is basic white 3.75 x 5. I stamped the fence in Early espresso ink and then the pumpkins with calypso coral and pumpkin pie. The stems are all stamped with old olive ink.
I then took a blending brush and lightly added some Old Olive ink to half of the card. Then lightly added some crushed curry with my blending brush to the upper half of the card. I then masked off about half of the top half of the card and lightly added a little real red ink with the blending brush to give a contrast to the sky. After finishing the blending, I added the trees in Crushed curry ink and finished off the card with some random Adhesive back speckled embellishments.
On the inside of the card, I added a little blending across the bottom of the card with Old Olive and added some more of the smaller pumpkins in pumpkin pie ink.
