Happy Father’s Day!

Take to the Sky is the stamp set of choice for today’s card. A great stamp set for masculine cards, It also makes for a great stamp set for all of our Women pilots out there!

I started out with a BOHO Blue cardstock base 8.5 x 5.5 and then a layer of Smokey Slate 3.75 x 5 and embossed, then a layer of Basic black 2 7/8 x 4 3/8, followed up with a layer of DSP 2 3/4 x 4 1/4. The DSP is the paper that goes with the stamp set. I took the smaller airplane stamp and stamped all over it with black memento ink. Attached all the layers together and added to the card base.

The airplane is die cut from BOHO Blue and basic black and assembled, attached with stampin dimensionals. Don’t forget the propellers, they were die cut in BOHO blue and attached with a glue dot. I added one of the Industrial trinkets to the top of the card.

The inside is stamped with some clouds across the top and the airplane flying out of them. The envelope as you can see the flap is stamped with the airplane also.
