Thoughtful Journey

Beautiful day outside! The green grass and trees makes for a beautiful backdrop for these cards. Today I am using the Thoughtful Journey DSP paper pack. It is a pack of paper 6 x6, 48 sheets, 4 of each sheet. Such beautiful scenery pieces. We made this card last night in my card class, I told my group to use this card as their go to card when they have forgotten a Birthday, Anniversary, Wedding, or in need of a Thinking of you. This card will work for all those occasions! The card base is 8.5 x 11 and scored at 4.25, If using your using your trimmer to score, before removing the cardbase, slide it over to the 5.5 and cut, and then turn the card base lengthwise and cut again at 5.5. You will now have 2 card bases to use.

The front DSP piece if 4.25 x 5.5, simply slide it under the 1.25 of cardstock on the front, attach the adhesive to the 1.25″ piece and then your DSP. I took a 1 x 5.5 piece of cardstock and embossed it and attached. Using 2 of the dies from the die set I die cut the stem and flower image and attached to the front along with a matching bow.

On the inside of the card I added a strip of DSP 1.25 x 5.5 and a piece of basic white 3 x 5.5. Finished off the cards with some dragonfly embellishments.

The entire pack of the DSP paper is absolutely beautiful, so many cards can be made with this pack. Give it a try.
