Detailed Dogwood

I Love the Detailed Dogwood stamp set that is free during Sale-a-bration. It is FREE with a $100 order and is shown on page 15 of the SAB catalog.

My card base is Wild Wheat 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Softly Stipppled DSP from the SAB catalog, 5.25 x4. I then used a layer of basic white 3.5 x 4.75 for my stamping. Taking the 2nd to largest deckled circle I die cut a piece of scrap white and layed over the my card piece as my template. Using my blending brush and the Wild Wheat ink, I brushed the ink in the circle, once finished I removed the template and then stamped the dogwood in black memento ink along with the dragon fly. Before attaching to the card I added a piece of the Wild Wheat bakers twine and tied in a knot, then attached to the card base.

For the inside I used a smaller deckled circle to make the template and added the Wild Wheat ink with my blending brush and then stamped the image in black memento ink and attached to the card base.

On the outside of the envelope – I followed thru with some ink brushed on and stamping the dragonfly in Black memento ink. I left a greeting off as I was using this card as a note card. But a greeting could be added on the front in place of the dragon fly or on the inside, inside the circle.

Very quick and easy to put together, I hope you will give it a try.
