Girl Scout Christmas cards
Happy Friday!!!
I recently had the opportunity to work with some Girl Scout troops to help them make 75 cards to share with nursing home residents. This is my second year to do so and what a great group of young girls. They worked so hard to make sure that each and everyone one of their cards were perfect.
I’m going to give you just a overlay of each card, and you can easily put them together with any color combination of inks and cardstock.
The Christmas tree card is from the stamp set – Forever Forest Bundle on page 20 of the Mini Catalog. We basically stamped the trees all the way across the card and then stamped again over the top of them. Added some ground cover and the greeting and the card was finished.\
The Noel card is using the stamp set Joy of Noel on page 30 of the Mini Catalog. We stamped the small holly stamp all around the outside of the card in the coordinating ink color. Then added a piece of cardstock 2.75 x 3.25, a piece of white 2.5 x 3 stamped the Noel image and put the pieces together and attached to the card base.
The last card we randomly stamped snowflakes all around the basic white 5.25 x 4, in three different colors. The greeting is stamped in Black memento ink and punched with a 1 3/4″ circle punch and attached to a piece of cardstock punched with the Decorative circle punch and attached to the card.
I didnt list cardstock and ink names, as I used up some retired products. You can adapt these cards to any color combination that you have in stock. All three cards are easy to mass produce.
Have a great weekend!
I hope you get to be crafty!
Thank you for stopping by.
