Valentines and more

Valentines cards are in the mail. I am sorry for the poor quality of a picture, I had these made and sealed up and didnt realize that I didnt take a better picture.

This card was made using the same fold as on Fridays card. Its such a fun and easy card to put together. I will give you the instructions here. Sweet Sorbet card base 8.25 x 4.25 scored at 5.5. I am using the Country Lane DSP paper. The front panel is 2 /12 x 4 and attach to the front. The inside is 5 1/4 x 4 that I stamped with the greeting “May your greatest wish come true” and added some of the flowers around it.

The flap is made from a piece of Sweet Sorbet 5 1/4 x 3 score at 5″ add adhesive to the score 1/4″ piece attach it to the white cardstock. Then attach to the card base. Add a piece of the DSP on top 5 x 2 75 and attach to the flap. Using the Something Fancy dies, I die cut a piece in Sweet Sorbet and a smaller piece in basic white. The greeting is stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink from the Country Bouquet stamp set. Added some hearts and attached the two pieces together and used stampin dimensionals to attach to the card. Finished off with some In color matte decorative dots.

The lady bug, is punched out in basic black cardstock and sweet sorbet. The dots are stamped on with black memento ink and using a glue dot to attach.

Such a fun card.

This is another version of this fun fold that I made. Measurements are all the same, on the lady bug, I added a vellum wing before adding the wind made from the DSP. I also added eyes and a smile.

I hope you take a try at this card. Once you get started with this layout you wont stop.

Have a great day and I hope you get to stamp!

Sheryl
