Decorative Borders

Good Morning Stampers!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I sure did, very busy but a lot of fun with grandkids.

My card today features the Decorative borders from the Mini catalog on page 47. This is a stamp set that you can do a little or a lot with. My cardbase is Highland Heather cardstock 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Gorgeous Grape 3.75 x 4 and then the basic white is 3.5 x 3.75. I stamped the image in black memento ink and using my stampin blends to color in the flowers. Highland heather, mossy meadow and starry sky were the blends. The greeting is stamped in Black memento ink and is from the Framed Florets stamp set on page 65 of the Mini Catalog. I finished off the card with some embellishments from the Glossy Dots assortment in the annual catalog, pg. 143.

On the envelope flap I stamped another image from the Decorative borders in Black memento ink and colored again with the same blends.

This is a very easy, simple, and quick card to make, especially if its last minute as mine was for a Birthday. You could change up the colors and also the greeting, it would be a great wedding or anniversary card.
