I know its been awhile, my summer has been so busy! My grandsons and son are into motocross racing, my husband pulls tractors, babysitting grandkids, garden, flowers and lawn. Have kept me quite busy and unable to stamp. I did squeeze in a few hours this past weekend to get some projects done and hopefully I will continue to be able to do that. I miss the therapy!
My card today is using one of the new In Colors – Starry Sky. The card base is 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of basic white 3.5 x 4.5. I am using the Perfect Pomegranate Stamp Set from the sale-a-bration catalog that is free when you host a $300 party.
I started by stamping the leaves in Old Olive ink, and then the pomegranate in Starry Sky ink. The blossom was inked in Mango Melody and then I just rolled the stamp around in Poppy Parade to give some contrast on the edges. The greeting is from the Go-To-Greetings stamp set on page 26 of the Annual catalog and stamped in Black Memento Ink. A great stamp set – it only has 5 different greetings, but they are in different sizes and fonts. Very useful! I added some of the dot grouping in Starry Sky ink and finished the card with some embellishments from the In Color Matte Decorative Dots in the Starry Sky along with a bow made from the Starry Sky Bakers twine. On the inside of the card I stamped the blossom to match the outside along with the envelope.
A nice card to put together and have on hand for when you need to put a note in the mail!
Time is running out for sale-a-bration, it ends August 31st., don’t miss out on your free items!
Have a great week.
