Happy Easter

Happy Easter card!

Todays Easter card is using Timeless Tuilips. The card base is Granny Apple green 8.5 x 5.5, and then a layer of DSP 5.25 x 4. You can use any DSP, this one is retired. Then a layer of basic white 3.25 x 5.25. Stamped the stems in Granny apple green ink. I used Mango Melody and Poppy parade inks for the tulips, Stamping the image in Mango Melody and then using a dauber to add some Poppy Parade ink to the stamp and then stamping on to the white cardstock. I stamped some on to the card stock and also on cardstock that I fussy cut out or using the tulip punch to punch out. I just arrange them and attached with stampin dimensionals. The greeting is from Easter Friends and stamped in Granny Apple ink. The bow is the Polka Dot Tulle ribbon. I maybe got carried away with embellishments, but I wanted to use the little Lady bug, and also the Champagne Rhinestones. If its a little to much for you, just leave them off.

You can use any DSP that you have on hand to complete this card, along with whatever tulip colors you would like. If you are going to add the additional color with a dauber, remember you want to stamp the image in the lighter color and the use your sponge dauber to add the color on to the stamp set and then stamp on to cardstock. No two images will be the same, thats what makes the variation so pretty. As always I hope to have fun with it.
