I’m starting the week off with a Fun Birthday card. This card was made using one of the mask from the Plenty of Patterns Decorative masks found on page 128 of the Annual Catalog. I took a piece of white cardstock 3.75 x 5 and laid it down on to a bigger piece of scrap paper, and then laid the mask on top. I then took painters tape to tape the mask down and prevent movement while coloring in with sponge daubers. I used Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, and Real Red as my colors. I let it sit for just a minute to make the colors were all good and dry and then removed the mask. The greeting is from Happiest of Birthdays Pg 66 of the AC. I stamped it in Black memento ink and added some Black bakers twine that I just tied in a knot. Then attached to a Misty Moonlight card base. To finish off the card I added some of the Blue Adhesive Backed gems from page 142.
