Fall Card

Hello Stampers!

I did a technique class with the blending brushes and this was one of the cards we made in the class. We started off with a Pumpkin Pie cardstock base of 8.5 x 5.5 with a another layer of pumpkin pie 5.25 x 4 that was embossed with the Stitched Greenery die. Then a piece of Soft Suede 3.75 x 4.5. Basic white 3.5 x 4.25. first we took a scrap piece of white paper 3.5. x 4.25 and used a 1″ punch to punch out the moon and placed over our basic white cardstock. Then with a blending brush we used pumpkin pie ink and colored in our moon. After it was all colored in, we took the same punch and punch out a post it note to cover the moon while we did our other blending. Starting at the bottom we blended in Pear pizzazz for the ground cover, then So Saffron for the background and then Balmy Blue for the sky. Once that was done we then stamped the Welcoming Woods stamps in Early Espresso ink. The leaves were stamped in Pumpkin Pie.

This made for a great fall card, or Birthday. The blending brushes really added to the nature of the card.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving with family/friends.

Sheryl
