Happy Hello

Where has the time went, summer is about over, schools are back in session, the garden in winding down and it is getting time to start and think about the holidays. My summer has been so busy with outside projects, being with grandkids, and going to dirt bike races, that it has left little time for stamping. I am hoping to be back in the swing now. My card today is using the Delicate Dahlias, stamp set, it is one that you can earn free with a $100 purchase from either the annual or the mini catalog. I love the Dahlias, I do not have any in the purple this year, mine are mostly yellow and red. I am using the Fresh Freesia card stock for my base 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Pear Pizzazz 4.5 x 5. Then basic white 5.24 x 3.25. I stamped the base image of the dahlia in Fresh Freesia ink and the put the outline on top with Black berry Bliss ink, I didnt get to concerned about lining up the outline of the Dahlia, I was looking for depth to the image. The leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink. The sentiment is from Sunny Sentiments in the Annual catalog on page 38 stamped in Black memento ink. The ribbon is Black berry bliss, (retired) but you could also use the new Fresh Freesia ribbon instead. I added some of the In color jewels, fresh freesia embellishments.

Just a quick card to hopefully make someone smile when they receive it. You could change up the cardstock and ink to any combination and make this card work for you.
