Happy Friday Stampers!

Today I am showing one of the cards that was made from my Summer Stamp program using the Turtle Friends stamp bundle. If you are in my Summer stamp program you should have received your materials to make 2 of this card. The Stamp set for July is the Sweet as a Peach bundle. Those kits will be going out shortly. Now back to this card, I am starting with a card base Poppy Parade 4.25 x 11, score at 5.5 and then cut off a piece at 2.5″ which then gives you a card base of 4.25 x 8.5. On the bottom front flap you will need a piece of Granny Apple green card stock at 4 x 2.75 and then a piece of DSP 3 7/8 x 2 5/8. I am using the Pattern Paper DSP, On the top of card base you will need a piece of Granny apple green 4 x 5.25 and then a piece of DSP 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.

The inside of the card, with the bottom flap opens will look like this. The Poppy parade card stock is 7 x 2.5, scored at 3.5. You will need 2 pieces of white cardstock 2 1/4 x 3 1/4. One is for the front of the flap and the other is for the inside of the strip. For the one on the front, I stamped the turtle on scrap paper with black memento ink. I stamped the shell imprint with Granny apple green ink and then colored with my granny apple green ink marker. The body is colored with Crumb Cake Lt and DK. I attached with stampin dimensionals, then stamped the other 2 turtles accordingly. The party hat I stamped right on to a piece of DSP paper from the Patterned paper pack and fussy cut it out, then using a mini stampin dimensional attached to the card.
On the piece of white cardstock for the inside of the flap, I stamped the turtle on the cardstock and his shell in the Granny apple green ink and then left him as is. The streamers are stamped in Poppy parade and Pool party ink and I only used about half of the stamp to leave room for my message. Now when attaching this piece to the inside you want to make sure that you are leaving enough room to add the greeting on the front of the card. Go back to the top picture and you will see what I mean. The greeting is stamped in black memento ink onto a tag that I die cut and then attached to the card. Such a cute and fun birthday card to receive. Make sure to check out the Turtle Friends bundle I think you will like it.

If you are in need of any supplies to make this card, I would love for you to shop my online store. Make sure to list me as your demonstrator so that I can send you a Thank-you!

Have a great weekend and I hope it includes some stamping.
