Turtles!
I hope you had a great weekend. I have been out of town babysitting my newest granddaughter, Eleanor. What fun!! Just as I left their home they came across a large turtle in the back yard that had dug a hole for nest. So I had to use the new Turtle Friends stamp set to make them a card. This stamp set is also part of my Summer Stamp program, if you need and details on that just drop me a message. The card base is basic white 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of the Pattern Party paper 5 3/8 x 4 3/8. The basic white card stock is 3 1/2 x 4 1/5. I stamped the grass first in Old Olive ink and then used the Old Olive stampin blends and just added some color. I stamped the smallest turtle first in Soft Suede and ink and added his back design with soft suede ink also. The large turtle was done the same way on a piece of basic white paper and then punched out with the new turtle punch. I attached her to the card with stampin dimensionals. Added some hearts in poppy parade and the greeting in basic black ink. I felt it needed a little bling so I finished it off with some gems from the Genial Gems. So cute, great for a Birthday or just a note card.
I will keep you updated on the live turtle and her progress in laying her eggs, She has made a nest.
Have a great week and Thank you for stopping by.
