Easter

How was your weekend! I finally was able to work in some stamping, trying to get some Easter cards out. My card today is using the Purple posy, which is one of the in – colors that is retiring. The card base is 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Gorgeous Grape 5.25 x 4 and then a layer of white 3.75 x 5. I am using the In Bloom stamp set shown on page 45 of the Mini catalog. I have stamped the stem in garden green ink, the leaves I inked and stamped off with some and some are direct stamping. The flower is stamped in Purple Posy ink. I know you are saying Purple posy ink? I think I must have been one of the early purchasers of this ink pad, because I know they took it off the shelf shortly after its release. I stamped the center with the georgous grape ink. The greeting is stamped in black ink from the Arrange a Wreath stamp set. The ribbon is from the Playing with patterns ribbon combo and of course we always need some bling. The pastel Pearls from the Mini catalog finished off the card.
