Valentines

The days are getting away from me and I almost missed on getting some Valentine cards ready to go. Not all Valentine cards have to be red, so I’m putting this one out there to maybe help you in making some non traditional cards.

The card base is Seaside Spray 8.5 x 55 with a layer of Sahara Sand that has been embossed with the new Painted texture embossing folder. I then used 2 stamps sets for the hearts, Lots of heart, (in new mini catalog) and Meant To Be (annual catalog) along with the dies. I just die cut and stamped them in Seaside spray and Sahara sand card stock. The greeting is stamped in Sahara Sand and punched with the postage stamp punch and attached with stampin dimensionals. I finished the card off with Scalloped Linen ribbon in the seaside spray and some black matte embellishments.

If you are more of the traditional red valentine card, you could copy this one and use your reds, pink and purple too. Hopefully this will get you started as Valentine’s Day is almost here.
