Money Holder

Hello Stampers!

Today we are making a money card holder for those of us that still like to give the green cash and not a gift card. Very easy to make, I am using Balmy Blue cardstock 7 x 8.5. On the 8.5 side score at 2 and 5 1/4″ On the outside flap I had added a piece of Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper 3 1/8 x 6 7/8″, before attaching to the cardstock I added a ribbon from the Balmy Blue Metallic ribbon. Then using the Gnome for the holidays I stamped the gnome on to whisper white cardstock and colored with my blends, using Balmy blue LT, night of navy Lt, Rocco Rose, Garden Green, Crumb cake, and smokey slate. I then fussy cut him out and attached with stamping dimensions to the designer series paper. Next I die cut some snowflakes with the So Many Snowflake dies, They are in silver foil paper, balmy blue glitter paper, and white glitter paper (retired, sorry) I attached these with tomboy glue and added the Opal rounds embellishments to them. The greeting is stamped in Balmy blue ink on to whisper white card stock and I fussy cut it out and attached with stampin dimensions.

The inside of the folder, I took a piece of the whisper white 1 3/4″ x 6 7/8″ and added a greeting from the Wrapped in Christmas greeting stamp set and stamped in black ink. I then added snowflakes Balmy Blue ink. Before attaching the whisper white I lined it up as to where it would be and used a 1″ circle punch and punched in a notch to make easy access to the cash. I added tear n tape on the sides to attach, make sure to keep it right to the edge so that you are able to slide your money in and out.

These are so easy to make and you can use and stamp set and designer series paper to decorate with. A great way to use up that DSP paper. I hope this helps with those last minute items that we are always scrambling to do.

Have a great day!

Sheryl
