Gift Cards

Good Morning Stampers!

I hope you have your Christmas cards finished or getting close. I have mailed most of mine and mailed some small packages that they told me would be close to getting to the recipients by the 25th! Thought I would work on some gift card ideas this week. My paper is the Poinsettia Place Designer series paper. The card base is Garden Green 8.5 x 5.5 and scored at 2.5 and 6.5. Then I cut the dsp paper 2.25 x 5.25 for the top piece and 1.75 x 5.25 for the bottom piece and attached with adhesive. I then made a card to go along with my gift card for the inside 4.25 x 3.25. When folding up the smaller of the flaps add adhesive or glue to the very edge to hold in place, make sure your card and gift card can still easily slide in and out. I used the large stitch oval for greeting, which is from the Poinsettia petals stamp set, stamped in Garden green ink and then I took the flower sprig and stamped it soft suede and stamped off before stamping it over the greeting. I then took the Old olive ribbon from the All the trimmings combo and tied it around the top portion of the holder and made a bow. I finished it off with some embellishments from Wonderful gems.

This is a close up look of the finished gift card holder. It will fit into a regular envelope if you are needing to mail them. Fast and easy to put together and a great way to use up some of that Designer series paper that you have.

Have a great day and I hope you get to do something creative!
