Happy Holidays

How is your Christmas card making going? I am getting some done, but just seems like so many other things need done first. My card today is using the Poinsettia stamp set and dies in the Mini catalog. Card base is Merry Merlot 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Mossy Meadow 5.25 x 4 and then a layer of Whisper white 3.75 x 5 that was embossed with the brick and mortar 3d embossing folder. I then stamped the poinsettia in Merry Merlot ink on to Merry Merlot cardstock and die cut. The holly leaves are just die cut from the Mossy Meadow card stock. Also a couple sprigs from the brass metallic card stock. All were attached with glue dots except for the poinsettia which I used Stampin dimensionals. I also added the center in Mango melody, when you die cut it, it is already embossed ready to go. I stamped the greeting right on to the whisper white card stock in black memento ink. Before attached the whisper white to the mossy meadow cardstock I wrapped the gold braided twine around the whisper white three times and attached it in the back. This card came together rather quickly, mostly involved die cutting with very little stamping.
