Hello December

If you are like most of us you woke up to snow this morning. The trees are beautiful with the snow clinging to them. Now if you are not a lover of the snow this is something to check for in your area. My uncle always told us of an old farmers tale that the first morning that you could track a rabbit in the snow at your location, whatever the day was on the calendar that was how many snows you would get for the season. So if you can track a rabbit this morning you have one more snow for the season. Hmmmm

Ok about todays card, it is a Seaside Spray cardbase 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Soft Suede 4 x 5 3/8 and then a layer of whisper white 3 7/8 x 5. I then took a post it note and hand tore it to give me a hilly affect. I placed it on the whisper white and using the new blender brushes I added Seaside spray coloring to look like snow banks. I just kept re positioning my post it note and adding the color. I just love the snow banks! The rabbit is stamped in Soft Suede ink and the bushes and grasses are in crumb cake. I finished it off with some snowflake adhesive backed embellishments. I just love how this came together.

Today would be a great day to pull out those stamp sets and make cards! Maybe you can even give this one a try.
