I have a planter that has had Snap Dragon flowers in it that were still blooming until today. They had some of the prettiest blooms right now until this morning they are finished. So I thought I would make a flower pot showing them off. Whisper white is the card base 8.5 x 5.5 and then a layer of Just Jade 5.25 x 4 embossed with the Ornate Flower embossing folder. I used Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper and die cut with the largest scalloped stitched die and then die cut a piece of whisper white with a scalloped stitched die. I then stamped the flower pot in black ink onto white whisper card stock and then fussy cut it out and used my Cajun Craze pencil to color the flower pot. I used Just Jade ink to stamp the stems, and then I used Merry Merlot ink and stamped the little flowers. The larger flowers are Stamped with Merry Merlot onto Merry Merlot cardstock and punched with the flower punch and attached with glue dot. I finished it off with Bakers Twine bow. It made for a nice note card, or a Thinking of you card. Make sure to check out the Stampin up sale that is going on only today.
