Sunflowers!

Hello Stampers!

These are the sunflowers that outlined my garden, and now they are just heads of seeds. But when they were in bloom it was beautiful, you can see our pumpkins have grown thru them. In the mornings the little bees were just a buzzing everywhere and then through out the day we had all kinds of butterflies.

I thought I would do one more sunflower card for the season. The Celebrate Sunflowers bundle on page 13 of the Annual catalog is a great stamp set with some meaningful greetings. My card base is Very vanilla 8.5 x 5.5. I then took a piece of Mossy Meadow 3.75 x 5.25 and embossed it with the Old World Embossing folder. I die cut a piece of Bumblebee card stock with the largest die from the Hippo & Friends dies. I then used the small sunflower and stamped on to the Bumblebee cardstock in black memento ink. I stamped the same sunflower onto Very vanilla cardstock and die cut it out. Using my stampin blends to color the flower. Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight and crumb cake. I attached it to the Bumblebee die cut with stampin dimensionals. I then die cut the leaf stems in Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla and attached with glue dots. I made a bow from the Vanilla ribbon in the forever Greenery trim combo pack and attached with a glue dot. The sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and then I fussy cut it out. When attaching I added a stampin dimensional on the side with (you) to keep it balanced when placing on the layers. On the inside I stamped the sunflower image again across the top along with stampin on the envelope.
Have a Happy start to Fall and I hope you get to stamp this weekend.
As always Thank-You for dropping by.
Sheryl
