A Beautiful Day!

Sorry for being MIA lately, was having some internet issues with my blog, but we’re back on track now.

The stamp set that I am using today is Beautiful Autumn on page 46 of the Mini catalog. This can be purchased as a bundle which includes 3 little punches to punch out the oak and maple leaf and the acorn. They are so cute! The card base is Cajun craze 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Very vanilla 5.25 x 4 that I embossed with the new Tasteful Texture 3D embossing folder. I took the golden hoop and placed it where I was going to put it on the card, I took a pencil and lightly outlined the left side of the hoop, and then removed it. I stamped the wheat in Bumblebee ink several times along where the hoop will sit. I then took scrap very vanilla paper and stamped my leaves and acorn. The inks I used were Early Espresso for the outline of the acorn and then crumb cake to fill in the acorn. The leaves are stamped in cinnamon cider for the outline and then filled in with Merry Merlot, pumpkin pie and cajun craze. Then use the punches to punch out the leaves and acorn. I attached the hoop back on the card now with tombow glue and then added the leaves and acorn with glue dots, just randomly placed. I then added a bow with the cajun craze bakers twine. The greeting is stamped on a 1″ x 4″ piece of very vanilla cardstock in Early Espresso ink and I added an acorn on the end.

A real cute Fall card that would work for any occasion.
