Gift Card Holder

Happy Friday Stampers!

Those of you that participated in my July Summer stamp project last month received the Cute Fruit as the stamp set. This was a gift card holder that I made as a Thank-you to go along with the project. To make the gift card holder you will need a piece of Whisper white card stock 4.25 x 8.5. You will score it on the landscape side (8.5 side) at 2 and 6.5. I then stamped the fruit on the top portion and the back side of the holder. My colors are Bumblebee, Just Jade Flirty Flamingo and Magenta Madness. I then added a piece of designer series paper from the Flowers for Every season 2 x 4.25 on the bottom. You can see in the next photo, I took a 1″ circle punch and made a notch, It just makes it easier to pull the gift card out. The greeting is from Itty Bitty Birthdays page 107 in the annual catalog. I stamped it in Magenta Madness ink and die cut with the shape from Stitched so sweetly dies. I then cut 18″ of the gingham 1/4″ ribbon (pg 161) and wrapped around the gift card, and after I tied the bow off to the side and had it exactly where I wanted it, I put a glue dot in the center of the ribbon to hold it in place, and then added a adhesive to the top of the greeting and attached to the ribbon also. That way when the bow is untied it all stays in place.

I then added a little note card, 3.5 x 3 and stamped the pineapple on it, this is where you can write your message and place it and the gift card or cash into the holder. See the little notch that punched out.
Just a fun little gift card holder for any occasion really. These would be great for Christmas too. Just change up the theme.
I hope you like my project and watch for August Summer stamp project next week.
Have a great weekend
Thank you for stopping by.
