Moving Along

Have you seen this stamp set yet? If not, it is on page 99 in the annual catalog. This is such a cute little set and it will work for all ages! I am using it today for a masculine Birthday card. My card base is Early espresso 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of the new brass foil paper 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 and then a layer of the World of Good DSP paper 5.25 x 4, I added another piece of the World of Good DSP 3/4 x 4 across the center. The stitched shape is from the Hippo & Friends dies shown on page 176. To stamp my images I took the train track and just curved it a little on my block, this is a photopolymer stamp set so you are able to maneuver the stamp somewhat.
I stamped the tracks along with the train images in black menento ink. I used stampin blends to color the train, light smokey gray for the engine and light crumb cake for the other cars. The sentiment is from the set and stamped in black ink also, I then attached to the card with adhesive.
I wanted you to see the inside of the card. I just continued on with the tracks and the train and used the same stampin blends to color in the cars. The balloon stamp is from the Zoo Globe stamp set. I love that little cluster of balloons. I used Mango Melody blends to color them in and added the sentiment in Basic black in.
The final piece to the card is the envelope of course! I continued on with the tracks and the train and same stampin blends. I just love this card, I am so pleased how it came together.
Make sure to check out the the Moving Along stamp set you are going to love it!
