I have so many family and friends with July Birthdays, that it has kept me quite busy getting cards out to everyone. Todays card is using the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set shown on page 13 of the new catalog. My card base is Granny Apple Green 4.5 x 11 and scored at 5.5 for the fold. I then added a piece of whisper white 5.24 x 4, you will need a piece of DSP for the center of the card measuring 1.5 x 4 For this card I am using the Flowers For Every season paper. I laid it on the card and made small pencil marks to show where it will be and removed it and then stamped my sunflowers. I made a mask of the sunflower, stamped the center one in soft suede and then put the mask on top, then stamped the 2 outside sunflowers. I used my colored pencils to color them, then my blender pen to smooth out the coloring. I used crushed curry and Granny apple green pencils. I then used the Stitched so sweetly dies and die cut one in Soft suede, the next in bumblebee and the last in whisper white. The bumblebee one I embossed with the new Old World Paper 3d embossing folder shown on page 185. I stamped the sentiment in Soft suede and attached them all together and then on to the card. I added an embellishment from the In color enamel dots along with a bow made from the 1/4″ gingham ribbon . Such a cute card! One more July Birthday completed! Have a great day! Be creative!
