Adventure Awaits!
The Adventure Awaits! I am using the new Beautiful World Bundle shown on page 26 of the new Annual catalog. The Designer Series paper in this suite is just beautiful, great paper for those masculine cards. My card base is Basic Black 4.25 x 11. I thought a stand up card would be great for this card. I added a layer of the DSP 3.75 x 5 and then another piece 2 x 5.5 and finally one more 1.5 x 4.25. Before attaching this strip I added a piece of the faux Suede trim and then attached to the card base. The brass foil sheets are amazing, so shiney. I used the Everyday Label punch to punch out a piece of the foil. Stamped the image on whisper white and then used the Label Me Fancy punch and punched it out. I attached it with stampin dimensionals. I stamped the compass in black ink and used my 1″ circle punch to punch it out, and then 1 1/4″ circle punch a piece of Mossy Meadow and then 1 3/8″ punch and punched a piece of the new cinnamon cider card stock and put them all together and attached to the card. Sorry about using the retired circle punches, but I always keep those kind of punches around and will continue to use them.
I am using this card for a graduation card, but you could use it for someone starting a new job, off to college, moving to a new area. So many possibilities and the paper is just great.
