Pedal to the Metal
Pedal to the Metal is another masculine stamp set that is going to retire May 31st. This stamp set is perfect for the men and boys in your life who have the need for speed. My grandsons love this set, they will stamp several of the dirt bike and razor and color them all kinds of colors. My grandson that just finished up kindergarden made several cards (with grandmas help of course) that he sent to his friends that he was missing from school due to the COVID.
My card base is Crumb cake 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of the new World of Good Designer Series Paper 5.25 x 4. Before attaching the DSP I added a piece of the 5/6″ Braided burlap trim . I then used the 3rd largest stitched rectangle and die cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I stamped the images in Black memento ink and used my stampin blends to color them, Basic Black, Crumb cake, Gray Granite, Pumpkin Pie, and shaded spruce. I then added some dirt tracks in crumb cake ink. Stamped the greeting in basic black ink and finished it off with an embellishment from the Designer elements that are also retiring.
This stamp set is a fun one that I will be keeping to use for my grandsons and other masculine cards that I am making.
