Thinking of You Sweet Friend

Happy Friday!
Wow this week flew by, and so has the month of April!
This was the second of the card kits that I sent out to my monthly stamp club members. I used the Ornate Garden suite that will be in the new 2020-2021 Annual catalog. The suite is sold out for now unfortunately but I still wanted to show my card.
When I put the card kit together the ladies all received the precut card stock, the pre-tied bow, envelope and a package of the Gilded gems. They simply had to assemble and use a stamp set of their own for the center of the oval and the greeting. A few of the ladies have sent me pictures of their completed cards which have turned out amazing.
The card base is Terracotta tile 4.25 x 11, with another layer of Terracotta tile 5.25 x 4 that was embossed using the Stone 3D embossing folder. Thats where I made the mistake, I should have used the new Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder, but I was half way done with the kits and so I kept on.
I then cut a rectangle of the champagne foil paper 2.75 x 4 and a piece of the Ornate DSP paper 2 5/8 x 3 7/8, if you do not like to work with the 1/8″ then just cut the DSP 2.5 x 3.75, It will work too.
I then die cut a scalloped oval in Terracotta tile and an oval in Whisper White. I stamped the flower from the Ornate Style stamp set in Black Memento ink and colored with my stampin blends, Old Olive and Calpyso Coral, Daffodil Delight. Attached the two pieces together and used stampin dimensions to attach to the card. I made a bow from the Old Olive ribbon in the suite and attached with glue dot. I then used the smallest rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies in the mini catalog on page 20 and die cut a piece of Whisper white card stock that I stamped the greeting in basic black ink from the Honey Bee stamp set. I finished off the card with some of the Gilded gems.
This suite is not available at the present time but will return in the annual catalog, in the meantime you could complete this card with any DSP and stamp sets that you have on hand.
I hope you have an enjoyed my cards this week and if you are in need of any supplies please feel free to use my online store or if you are not comfortable with ordering directly online you can email me and I will place the order for you.
Have a pleasant weekend and I hope you get to stamp!
