To a Wild Rose
Happy Friday Everyone!
I wish I could say I hope you have great plans for the weekend, but with social distancing it basically leaves us at home. So maybe stamping is going to be your plan.
My card today is using the To A wild rose stamp set, this is so a pretty stamp set, but it might take a little practice to get those rose images to line up if you do not have a stamparatus. If I am stamping with out the stamparatus I place my rose images all the same way on the block. I then look for that common spot on the rose and use it as my go to for the alignment. The card base is Flirty Flamingo 8.5 x 5.5 with a layer of Whisper white 5.25 x 4 and then another layer of flirty flamingo 3.75 x 5 I then added a piece of silver foil which is 3.5 x 4.75 and then I die cut a piece of whisper white with the framelit from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies. I used the Flirty flamingo ink for the rose and Pear Pizzazz ink for the leaves. The Butterfly is from the Positive Thoughts stamp set, stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink and die cut with the Natures thoughts dies. I finished the card off by adding a bow using the 3/8″ metallic edge ribbon in silver. The greeting I am leaving for the inside, and you could make this card for any occasion. I did stamp the rose on the inside along with on the outside of the envelope.
Don’t forget to check out the retiring list, and don’t wait to place your orders and things will sell out fast.
Have a great weekend with whatever your plans are and try to do some stamping.
