Happy Birthday Nancy!

Today is my youngest daughters birthday, she is all about the shoes, purses and bling. I saw this card on Pinterest and knew I had to Case it, I wrote down the originator’s name somewhere and now I have miss placed it. Sorry! My card starts off with a Seafoam green card base 8.5 x 5.5 and then a layer of Whisper White 5.2 x 4 that I embossed with the Basket Weave embossing folder. I then took one of the 3rd largest of the stitched rectangle shapes and die cut the center to give me the frame look. I then took that piece that came from the middle and cut 3/4″ strip from it. Now to attach all this to card base I used the Foam Adhesive strips. I wanted it to stand out like a picture frame. I then took the Best Dressed designer series paper and found the sheet with the purses and the shoes, and just randomly cut some out. They are all attached with glue dots. I added some sequins for sparkle.

I then took the flower image from the stamp set and stamped on to whisper white paper and colored with Rich Razzleberry Light and dark, Petal pink and Bermuda Bay blend markers. I die cut them out and attached with glue dots. The greeting is from the Timeless Tulips stamp set and in stamped in Black memento ink onto whisper white card stock and die cut with the small stitched rectangle shape and attached with glue dot. I finished the card off with a bow of the metallic petal pink ribbon.

Such a fun card!

Have the Happiest of Birthdays Nancy!

Thank-you for stopping bye and do something creative today!
