A Happy card
Love Love Love the colors in this one. when I started on this one, everything just kept coming together so easy! The stamp set if Flourishing Phrases and the Flourish dies. This stamp set is in the annual catalog on page 35. It has some great sentiments for all occasions and some great dies too!
I started off with a card base of Mint Macaron 8.5 x 5.5 and then added a layer of Champagne foil 5 x 3.25. I then cut a pied of whisper white 4 7/8 x 3 1.8 to stamp on. My inks are Flirty Flamingo and Mint Macaron. I stamped the larger flower in Flirty Flamingo twice on the paper and then added some mint macaron leaves randomly. I then took the flower die cut and die cut it in Flirty Flamingo card stock. I put the 2 smaller ones together and placed them on the top flower on white and the larger I attached on the bottom card. I then took the flower and leave die and die cut some out of Crumb cake cardstock and randomly placed them on the card. You will notice some I cut off some stems when placing, I didnt want all that showing thru the card. The other die that I guess is like the buds before the bloom I die cut out of my champagne foil piece before I put the whisper white on it. No will every know that was done as its covered top and bottom.
I made a bow with the 5/8″ polka dot tulle ribbon and then added a 1/4″ textile mint macaron ribbon on top to complete the card. I also added some metallic silver embellishments to the flower. I didnt want to put a sentiment on the front of this card, I left if for the inside. Viola!
This card really made me happy when it was completed and I hope it puts a smile on your face!
